During a workshop at the Bauhaus Dessau
For me, design is the transfer of knowledge, processes and experience from one subject to another. In times of crisis this mediating role enables us designers to react dynamically to problems. Therefore when facing problems like climate change, international health crises, and shifting global power relations, the world needs many such mediators.
In my work, I try to apply design methods to ecological issues. I want to make habitats more livable for people and nature and more resilient in times of climate change. It is important to me to have a lively exchange with local actors.

In the Harz National Forest as part of my bachelorthesis

The heart of this portfolio is a series of videos, each tackling a different project of mine. The goal of these videos is to explain the inner workings of my design process. The videos were made with the aid of greenscreens and a overhead camera rig.
