Flüsterwerk is a permanent installation developed for the coworking and exhibition space ↗Schauwerk . The projection is born out of a protest against the current advertising landscape in cities; a billboard that positions itself away from glaring neon-lettering and loud consumer slogans, which encourages bypassers to pause and offers time for reflection. It helps the Schauwerk advertise workshops, exhibitions and parties while also asking the important question: Can advertising be »whispered«?

»The attention of others is the most irresistible of drugs. To receive it outshines receiving any other kind of income. This is why glory surpasses power, and why wealth is overshadowed by celebrity. «
—Georg Franck in The economy of Attention (1998)
